- To be on duty at the phone and record all requests from guests/staff to support with hardware, software tasks as well as other peripheral devices.
- To install/ maintain and configure all computer system and peripheral devices in accordance with requirements of Management Company.
- To diagnose and repair software and hardware computer incidents.
- To supervise, direct, secure and support staff in using effectively SMILE hotel management software.
- To update new goods on SMILE POS system.
- To supervise and maintain virus system – make plans to prevent viruses, update the patches for computers in the hotel.
- To supervise and maintain the stability of the whole internet and system in the hotel. To ensure the system works 24/7, including the following items:
- Manage all servers in the hotel, maintain their stability. Make daily/monthly follow-up schedule and make annual plan of maintenance.
- Manage all firewall, router, switch, update new firmware version.
- To supervise all communication lines, report to IT Manager – Management Company whenever an incident happens.
- To supervise and maintain the stability of the backup and recovery systems in the hotel.
- To make a list of data that needs to be backed-up. To ensure the data is safely backed-up
- To plan to restore files after the backup test in order to ensure the integrity.
- To make a plan to restore data after catastrophe and backup plan.
- To supervise and maintain the stability of the fixed IT asset management system.
- To supervise and maintain the stability of the system connecting to banking system, other software for accounting.
- Support IT Manager – Management Company in compiling technical documentation, process, procedures, directing and disseminating to staff.

To implement Morning checklist of the system including the following items:
- To guaranty the smooth internet for the whole system in the hotel, including wifi system for guests.
- Smooth sending/receiving email.
- To ensure all servers and workstations are always ready for transactions.
- To check intranet of the hotel.
- To check servers.
- To check Wifi system.
- To count and manage IT fixed assets.
Other tasks requested by Management Board and Head of Department.
